Geekphone tehtud esimene Firefox OS-iga telefon (õigemini 2 eri mudelit) on tänasest tootja veebipoes müügis. Esialgne huvi tundub olema piisavalt suur ning teatega "Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[42000] [1203] User xxxx already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections" sait on sisuliselt kummuli (täpsemalt öeldes tekib viga tellimuse vormistamise hetkel), aga küll nad asja korda saavad.

Suurte tegijate nagu Sony, ZTE ja Alcatel telefonid saavad olema müügis paari kuu pärast. Aeg näitab, kas Firefox OS ja muud sel aastal ilmuvad uued mobiiltelefonidele mõeldud operatsioonisüsteemid (Tizen, Sailfish ja Ubuntu Mobile) saavad olema edukad. Loodetavasti saavad ning kui mitte kõik siis vähemalt mõni neist.
